Christian Bloggers I Met For a Challenge

Over the past week, I have been taking part in the Problogger 7 Days to Getting Your Blogging Groove Back Challenge. It continues to be both fun and challenging. I included a list of the blog posts I wrote during the challenge at the bottom of this article. Check them out and let me know your thoughts in the comment section.

One thing I didn’t expect was the participation of several other Christian bloggers from around the world. This was exciting and allowed me to virtually meet some of them as we participated in the challenge.

Here are a couple of the Christian bloggers I met:

Nancy Wallace

Nancy blogs at Seeker about her reflections on life and the Christian faith. Her blog is full of articles on many topics from gratitude to grief.

She caught my attention when she responded to the challenge article I wrote on group prayer. She is part of a small group that practices silent prayer. They started to meditate, pray and reflect silently for 5 minutes. But the group is now doing this silent prayer time for 35 minutes. They have definitely worked in time to listen as a part of their prayer with God!

You can read more about it at her article Silent Prayer.

Michelle Louise

Michelle blogs at Hope Mire to help others find hope while they deal with depression and other mental illnesses. She makes it clear that Jesus is where she gets her strength from.

I have a lot of respect for any Christian who admits to mental health issues and is willing to seek help and to help others. This may be because the topic hits very close to home.

Michelle writes about her mental health struggles and how she gets through them. She provides tips and resources to help other as well. Her writing is very poetic (obviously not like my style of writing). Be sure to check out her blog if you know anyone that deals with a mental illness.
